About Craig
Craig Gaul was born in the Midwest. He always felt the pull to be an artist and expressive but didn't draw much, besides some doodles in his school notebooks and felt that expression through lead and paint was a skillset that was out of reach. Craig's imagination of stories and acting them out started at a young age. During high school he took a introductory photography class and it was the idea of telling a story visually and artistically that satisfied this artistic pull at first. The focus then shifted into video, being able to tell more of a story through film and screenplays. Craig taught himself shot composition, graphics, and what makes a good script. He made his first short film which opened up more opportunities for him.
In between creating characters, rolling dice, and partaking in tales of epic fantasy, Craig got more involved with film, working on multiple projects, made his acting debut, and joined a nerdy improv troupe. During the time of performing improv, Craig was able meet with several recognizable names in the voice acting industry and begun taking classes and getting voice over work. He made his theatrical stage acting debut in 2022 when he was cast as the lead role, C.B., in Dog Sees God. He finished the year with the short film, The Last Trick or Treat, where he played as The Killer. In 2023, he acquired three more stage roles including Sense and Sensibility, Little Women, and A Christmas Carol, and a lead in the short film, Flex Appeal, which won Best Student Film in the Alternating Currents Festival.

With persistent help from friends, Craig turned his passion of fantasy into creating his own story. From time to time, the though of writing stories has crossed his mind, but much like painting or drawing, he thought creating an epic story just might be out of his reach. Until, one weekday afternoon, when he went into a four shot espresso fueled monologue of a character story to a friend at a local coffee shop. His friends reaction was simply: "Please write this into a book and I would instantly read it!". With that, Craig began working on his debut novel.
